Who this is for

Teams running any part of the Argo suite, particularly Argo CD for delivery or Workflows for batch work.

What it covers

Argo Workflows (36%)
Argo CD (34%)
Argo Rollouts (18%)
Argo Events (12%)

Domain names above reflect the current official curriculum's topic areas; exact weightings are set by the Linux Foundation/CNCF and revised periodically, so check their published curriculum for the current breakdown.

Why it's worth it

Worth checking the weighting before you buy, because it surprises people: Workflows is the single largest domain at 36%, slightly ahead of Argo CD. If you came for GitOps and have never run a Workflow, that is over a third of the exam on a tool you do not use. Genuinely useful if your shop runs the suite; a poor choice if you only run Argo CD.

Prep tips

Do not assume this is an Argo CD exam. Workflows and Argo CD are 70% between them and Workflows is the bigger half, so budget your preparation accordingly.
Argo Rollouts at 18% means progressive delivery is worth real study: analysis templates, AnalysisRun, and how a canary actually decides to proceed.
Argo Events is only 12% but it is the piece most people have never touched. It is cheap marks if you spend an evening on it.

Frequently asked questions

What does the CAPA exam cover?

The four Argo projects: Workflows at 36%, Argo CD at 34%, Rollouts at 18% and Events at 12%. Ninety minutes, multiple choice.

How much is the CAPA with a discount code?

List price is $250. With RUSHABH30 it drops to about $175, a saving of roughly $75.

CAPA or CGOA for GitOps?

CGOA is tool-agnostic and covers GitOps principles; CAPA is specifically the Argo suite and spends most of its weight on Workflows and Argo CD. If you run Argo, CAPA is more immediately useful. If you want the concepts, CGOA travels better.

Is it only about Argo CD?

No, and this catches people out. Argo Workflows is the largest single domain at 36%, so someone who only uses Argo CD is walking into a third of the exam cold.
